Description
Optionally, the sweet can be drizzled with honey, sprinkled with sesame seeds or nuts.
Ingredients
- Semolina 35 oz
- Pitted olives 35 oz
- Ground Cinnamon to taste
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Water 5 fl oz
- Citrus Zest Mix to taste
- Activated Baking Soda ½ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the dates and mix them with cinnamon and orange zest.
Step 2
Separately prepare the dough (MixSy from Zepter will do this in a couple of seconds), add the heated oil and warm water to the semolina and mix well.
Step 3
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 0.5 cm, place the filling on top, roll it up, and cut into pieces.
Step 4
Fry the makroud on all sides.
