Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Egg white 1 large
- Wheat Flour 25 oz
- Dry yeast 0 oz
- Vanilla extract 0 oz
- Salt 0 oz
- Vegetable Oil to taste
- Powdered Sugar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, vanilla paste, and salt. Mix well.
Step 2
Pour the milk into a saucepan, add the butter, and place it over low heat. Once the butter melts, remove the saucepan from the heat.
Step 3
Pour the milk and butter mixture into the flour.
Step 4
Add the egg.
Step 5
Knead the dough.
Step 6
Cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest for 1 hour.
Step 7
Roll the dough into a large sausage shape and cut it into small balls.
Step 8
Place a frying pan over heat and pour in enough oil. It should be deep enough for the doughnut to be submerged halfway.
Step 9
Fry the doughnuts on both sides until golden brown.
Step 10
Dust the finished doughnuts with powdered sugar and serve.
