Description

Any remaining frosting can be poured over the cake (this will help it soak in even better). The amount of frosting can vary depending on the thickness of the sour cream.

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 2½ glasses
  • Chicken Egg 8 pieces
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Water 1 glass
  • Salt a pinch
  • Sour Cream 25 oz
  • Sugar 1½ glasses

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place water in a pot over heat, add oil and salt. Heat until it boils (and the oil has melted).

Step 2

Reduce the heat to low and add the flour. Mix thoroughly until a smooth mixture forms.

Step 3

Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool.

Step 4

Once the mixture has cooled, gradually beat in the eggs one at a time.

Step 5

Transfer the prepared dough into a piping bag (or a pastry syringe) and pipe out elongated sticks (it's better to make them wider, as this will allow them to soak up more cream).

Step 6

Place in the oven for 20 minutes (until a golden crust forms) at a temperature of 390°F.

Step 7

Meanwhile, for the cream, mix the sour cream with sugar (you can whip it). Whip well until the sugar is dissolved. Thoroughly soak the sticks in the cream.

Step 8

Then arrange them in a log cabin formation.

Step 9

You can top the finished cake with glaze or grate chocolate over it.
