Description
Delicious with dark bread and chopped onions. You can add a bit of mayonnaise.
Ingredients
- Chicken Liver 20 oz
- Salad Potatoes 4 pieces
- Onion 1 piece
- Carrot 1 piece
- Water 5 qt
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the liver, cut it into small pieces, and place it in cold water. Set over medium heat and bring to a boil. The broth will be cloudy before boiling; once it boils, skim off the foam to achieve a clear broth.
Step 2
While the broth is boiling, peel and dice the potatoes into small cubes.
Step 3
Add the potatoes to the boiling broth. Add salt to taste.
Step 4
Peel the carrot and onion, and add them to the broth. Once the broth is ready, you can remove them.
Step 5
Cook until the potatoes and liver are done.
