Description
If you are concerned about using raw eggs, make this dessert only with fresh eggs. You can also gently heat the whipped yolks and whipped whites in a double boiler. Just be careful not to overheat them, or they will curdle, and add them to the other ingredients only after they have cooled.
Ingredients
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Bittersweet Chocolate 10 oz
- Egg white 4 pieces
- Butter 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt 3 bars of chocolate and the butter in a double boiler.
Step 2
Lightly beat the egg yolks.
Step 3
When the chocolate mixture cools slightly, stir in the yolks.
Step 4
Whip the egg whites with sugar until peaks form.
Step 5
Combine the egg whites with the chocolate-egg mixture.
Step 6
Place the mixture in the refrigerator to set for a few hours. If placed in the freezer, it will turn into chocolate ice cream.
