Ingredients
- Potato 3 pieces
- Celery 1 bunch
- Broccoli 3 heads
- Carrot 1 piece
- Red Lentils 5 oz
- Italian Herb Mix 0 oz
- Salt 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a pot, heat water to a boil.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes and carrot. Cut the potatoes into cubes.
Step 3
Chop the carrot into small pieces. Slice the celery.
Step 4
Add the chopped potatoes, carrot, and celery to the boiling water.
Step 5
Stir in the lentils. Add salt and Italian herbs.
Step 6
Cook over medium heat without a lid for 5 minutes.
Step 7
Then add the broccoli, cover the soup with a lid, and cook for another 3 minutes. The broccoli should soften but retain its bright color.
Step 8
Once ready, serve the soup with grated ginger and toasted bread.
