Description

Dry eating is the consumption of food without vegetable oil.

Ingredients

  • Ground Coffee 0 oz
  • Sugar 0.7 cups
  • Sea Buckthorn 4 tablespoons
  • Activated Baking Soda ½ teaspoon
  • Wheat Flour 1.5 cups
  • Cocoa Powder 2 tablespoons
  • Raisins to taste
  • Vanillin to taste
  • Cinnamon to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Prepare the ingredients: sift the flour, brew the coffee; if natural coffee is not available, instant coffee can be used as a substitute.

Step 2

In a deep bowl, add coffee, sugar, sea buckthorn jam (any other jam can be used), sifted flour, and cocoa powder.

Step 3

Add baking soda mixed with lemon juice and quickly stir everything together.

Step 4

Optionally, add baking spices and raisins.

Step 5

Line a baking pan (I used a small one) with parchment paper. Pour the mixture in (the consistency of the batter should slowly drip from the spoon), place in the oven at 200°C (392°F) and bake for about 20-30 minutes. Check for readiness with a toothpick.

Step 6

Optionally, you can decorate with powdered sugar or cut the cake into layers and spread with cream. The choice is up to your imagination.
