- Lemon 3 pieces
- Sugar 5 oz

Step 1
Peel the lemons, slice them, and remove the seeds.
Step 2
Place a few slices at the bottom of a glass jar and sprinkle sugar over them so that the thickness of the sugar layer matches the thickness of one lemon slice. Then, layer more lemon slices and sprinkle with sugar again. Repeat until all lemon slices are used. The final layer of lemons should be topped with the remaining sugar.
Step 3
Store the jar in a cool place, but not in the refrigerator. After a couple of days, the lemons can be used as an ingredient for sweet pastry fillings. They can also be served with tea.
