Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 3 cups
- Sugar 1 cup
- Butter 10 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Baking Powder 0 oz
- Vanilla salt ½ teaspoon
- Lemon 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs with sugar until light and fluffy. Add the softened butter to this mixture and stir. Then add the baking powder and vanilla sugar. Gradually add the flour, mixing thoroughly after each cup.
Step 2
Take the grated lemon zest (preferably using a fine grater) and mix it into the dough. Next, squeeze the juice from half of the lemon and add it to the mixture (I think it's not necessary to use the whole lemon, and half gives a pronounced flavor, but you can try).
Step 3
I placed the cookies using a teaspoon, forming small rounds, on parchment paper, but you can also place them directly on a baking sheet lightly greased with oil.
Step 4
Place in a preheated oven at 375°F and bake for about 20–30 minutes, depending on the size of the cookies.
