Lemon Ricotta Pie
Ingredients
- Butter 10 oz
- Powdered Sugar 10 oz
- Lemon 2 pieces
- Baking Powder 4 spoons
- Salt a pinch
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Ricotta cheese 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 2
Mix the butter, powdered sugar, eggs, ricotta, juice, and zest of 1 lemon with a mixer on low speed.
Step 3
Sift the flour and add baking powder and salt to it.
Step 4
Mix the two mixtures together until smooth. Pour the resulting mixture into a 26 cm baking pan, lined with parchment paper.
Step 5
Peel the remaining lemon, slice it thinly, and use the slices to garnish the mixture.
Step 6
Place in the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes (check for doneness with a toothpick — it should come out clean).
