Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Lemon 2 pieces
- Sugar 5 oz
- Baking Powder 2 teaspoons
- Salt to taste
- Vanillin to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 390°F.
Step 2
Beat the butter until fluffy, adding sugar, eggs, vanillin, and salt.
Step 3
Grate the zest of 1 lemon and squeeze out the juice. Add the juice and zest to the mixture.
Step 4
Mix the flour with the baking powder, sift it over the butter mixture, and stir.
Step 5
Grease a baking tray with butter, fill it with the batter, smooth it out, and bake for 20 minutes in a 20x20 cm pan.
Step 6
Remove the cake from the oven.
Step 7
Squeeze the juice and grate the zest of the second lemon, mix it with powdered sugar. Brush the hot cake with the glaze.
