Lemon jelly with fruits
Ingredients
- Lemon 5 oz
- Sugar 1 cup
- Gelatin 0 oz
- Grapefruits 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour 3 cups of water into a saucepan, add sugar, stir, and bring to a boil.
Step 2
Add the zest from half a lemon, previously soaked and squeezed, and the gelatin to the hot syrup. While stirring with a spoon, bring the syrup back to a boil and add the lemon juice.
Step 3
Strain the hot syrup through a cloth, slightly cool it, pour into bowls or molds in a layer of 1–2 cm, and let it set. Place various fruits on the set layer of jelly and pour the semi-set jelly over them so that it covers the surface of the fruits, and cool again.
