Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Remove the zest from the lemons, then immerse them in boiling water for 20 minutes, rinse with cold water, and cut into wedges, carefully removing the seeds.
Step 2
In a pot for making jam, prepare a thick syrup, add the prepared lemons, bring to a boil, and remove from heat.
Step 3
After an hour, drain the cooled syrup into a container, boil for 10–15 minutes, and pour it back over the lemons.
Step 4
After another hour, drain the syrup again, boil for another 10–15 minutes, pour the hot syrup over the lemons, and cook for 15–20 minutes.
