Step 1

Whisk the eggs with the sugar.

Melt the butter in a water bath.

Place on a water bath and, stirring continuously, keep on heat until the mixture thickens.

Step 5

Remove from heat, cool, and transfer to a jar. Seal tightly and place in the refrigerator.
