Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 4 pieces
- Sugar 10 oz
- Baking Powder 3 teaspoons
- Sour Cream 0 oz
- Vanillin 2 pieces
- Butter 5 oz
- Salt a pinch
- Meyer Lemon Juice 0 fl oz
- Lemon 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a large bowl, mix the eggs, sugar (180 grams), lemon juice, and zest. Melt the butter and let it cool slightly, then add it to the bowl. Mix the ingredients with a mixer, add the sour cream, and mix again. Add the flour, baking powder, vanillin, and salt. Stir well.
Step 2
Grease a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Pour in the batter.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 355°F (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Bake for 30 minutes. Lower the oven temperature to 320°F (320 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake until done.
Step 4
In a saucepan, pour in the remaining lemon juice and add sugar (40 grams). Heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Pour the syrup over the finished cake and let it soak for 30 minutes.
