Description

You can add cheese that melts well to the filling; I add grated Parmesan. I fry the chicken in clarified butter — it gives a different flavor than just vegetable oil.

Ingredients

  • Salad Potatoes 5 pieces
  • Chicken fillet 20 oz
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Puff Pastry 2 pieces
  • Ground Black Pepper 1 teaspoon
  • Soy Sauce 0 fl oz
  • Vegetable Oil 5 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Wash and peel the potatoes, cut them into small cubes, and place them in a bowl where we will prepare the filling.

Step 2

Rinse the chicken fillet and cut it into small pieces, season with salt and pepper, add soy sauce, and mix.

Step 3

Pour oil into a frying pan, add the chicken, and fry initially covered until the liquid evaporates completely, stirring and breaking up any clumped pieces of chicken.

Step 4

Once the liquid has evaporated, continue frying the chicken until golden brown; you can add herbs to the pan (fry the fillet until the chicken is fully cooked).

Step 5

Next, add the chicken to the potatoes and mix. The filling is ready.

Step 6

Roll out the dough, not too thin, make 'rounds', place the filling in the center, and shape them into 'triangular envelopes'.

Step 7

Preheat the oven to 355°F, bake for 1 hour, then check the readiness of the pastries; if more time is needed, it's better to extend it, and if an hour is too long, watch to avoid overcooking.
