Layered pie with cabbage and mushrooms
Ingredients
- Puff Pastry 35 oz
- Onion 1 piece
- White Cabbage 5 lbs
- Fresh Mushrooms 20 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Chinese Five Spice 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the cabbage and onion.
Step 2
Slice the mushrooms (I used champignons).
Step 3
Sauté all the vegetables in oil in a pan until cooked.
Step 4
Roll out the dough and divide it in half. Place the filling on the first half.
Step 5
Cover the pie with the second layer of dough.
Step 6
Bake in the oven at 355°F for 40 minutes.
Step 7
Twenty minutes before it's done, beat the egg and brush it over the pie.
