Layered Pear Pie
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Puff Pastry 20 oz
- Pears 3 pieces
- Cinnamon 1½ tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thaw the pastry, roll out 1 sheet and place it in a prepared (greased) baking dish.
Step 2
Wash the pears, peel them, remove the seeds, and cut into cubes. Place on the pastry and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Step 3
Cut long strips from the second sheet of pastry. Arrange them in a lattice pattern on the pie (make it look nice, be creative). Lightly beat the egg and brush it onto the pastry for a nice golden color.
Step 4
Bake in a well-preheated oven at 355°F for 20 minutes.
