Ingredients
- Corn Starch 2 tablespoons
- Sugar 5 oz
- Cocoa Powder 5 oz
- Milk 15 fl oz
- Liquid dark chocolate 5 oz
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Cream 10 fl oz
- Vanilla extract ¼ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the cornstarch, 75 g of sugar, 75 g of cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt in a small saucepan. Gradually add the milk, bring to a boil, and cook, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate and butter. Stir until the mixture is smooth. Transfer the mixture to a metal container and cool quickly, stirring, for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, whip the cream with the vanilla, remaining sugar, and 1 tablespoon of cocoa until stiff peaks form.
Step 3
In small wine glasses or dessert cups, layer the chocolate mixture and cream, and sprinkle cocoa on top.
