Ingredients
- Unleavened dough 2 pieces
- Marinated cherries 20 oz
- Potato protein 3 tablespoons
- Whole egg 1 piece
- Unrefined Sunflower Oil 0 fl oz
- Sugar 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Take the store-bought no-yeast puff pastry (2 sheets) out of the refrigerator and thaw it.
Step 2
Wash the cherries.
Step 3
Mix the cherries with the starch and almost a full cup of sugar.
Step 4
Roll out the dough, place the bottom layer in a greased baking dish.
Step 5
Add the filling.
Step 6
Top with dough cut into strips to create a lattice.
Step 7
Pinch the edges.
Step 8
Brush with egg yolk and bake until done (about 30 minutes) in the oven.
