Ingredients
- Lavender flowers 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Salted Butter 5 oz
- Rye Bread ½ piece
- Sugar 0 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Whole egg 1 piece
- Vanilla salt 0 oz
- Baking Powder 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Important! It is preferable to use Breton salted butter. You can substitute it with regular salted butter or butter with a pinch of salt, but real salted butter is still tastier! The rye bread should be fresh, very fresh rye bread!
Step 2
Beat the sugar, yolk, and egg into a frothy mass. Add half of the butter, flour, baking powder, lavender, and vanilla sugar. Knead the dough and leave it in the refrigerator for three hours.
Step 3
Spread the remaining butter on the bread and satisfy your hunger while waiting :)
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 175°C (347°F). Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1 cm and cut out beautiful shapes. Place in the oven for 17 minutes. Cool down.
Step 5
Enjoy with cold milk or apple lemonade!
