Lavash Pie with Suluguni, Dill, and Potatoes
Ingredients
- Armenian Lavash 2 pieces
- Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
- Sour Cream 1½ cans
- Passata Tomato Sauce 1 teaspoon
- Suluguni Cheese 10 oz
- Salad Potatoes 6 pieces
- Dill 1 bunch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Lay the lavash in a greased baking dish so that the edges hang over.
Step 2
Prepare the filling: grate the suluguni cheese on a coarse grater, boil the potatoes and cut them randomly, and finely chop the dill.
Step 3
Spread half of the filling on the lavash. Cover it with the edges of the first lavash to create folds - this will make the pie look very beautiful when cut.
Step 4
Pour half of the egg-sour cream mixture over it. To prepare it, beat the eggs with 1.5 cups of sour cream (you can use 1 cup of sour cream and 0.5 cup of mayonnaise as well) and 1 teaspoon of tomato paste (optional, just for color).
Step 5
Spread the second half of the filling, cover it with the edges of the second lavash (press down slightly with your hands), and pour the second half of the egg-sour cream mixture over it.
Step 6
Place in a preheated oven until golden brown (about 1 hour).
