Lavash Pie with Cottage Cheese

Description
If using cottage cheese, it should be passed through a sieve, sweetened, and flavored with vanilla. The cottage cheese should taste slightly too sweet (but not overly so); this will create an optimal flavor when combined with the slightly salty lavash.
Ingredients
- Armenian Lavash 2 pieces
- Cottage cheese 30 oz
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
- Sour Cream 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Warm the cottage cheese slightly (for example, in the microwave) to make it more liquid.
Step 2
Mix in the eggs and sour cream.
Step 3
If desired, lemon zest and raisins can be added to taste.
Step 4
Lay one lavash on the table, pour half of the cottage cheese onto it, and spread it evenly.
Step 5
Place the second sheet of lavash on top and spread the remaining cottage cheese on it (leaving 2–3 tablespoons for greasing the top).
Step 6
Gather the lavash into a bundle, pulling the edges together as if tightening the neck of a bag.
Step 7
Grease a baking dish with oil or line the bottom with parchment paper.
Step 8
Place the pie in the dish. Grease the top with the remaining cottage cheese.
Step 9
Bake in the oven at 200–430°F until golden brown on the surface (about 20 minutes).
