Lavash chips with paprika and Herbes de Provence
Ingredients
- Armenian Lavash 1 piece
- Paprika 1 teaspoon
- Herbes de Provence 1 teaspoon
- Olive Oil 4 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2
Place a suitable-sized sheet of lavash on a baking tray.
Step 3
Pour half of the olive oil or other vegetable oil into a container.
Step 4
Add the ground paprika. Salt can be added to taste or omitted.
Step 5
Mix well.
Step 6
Brush the lavash with a thin layer of the oil and spice mixture. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 180–390°F until golden and crispy.
Step 7
Remove the crispy lavash from the oven and let it cool.
Step 8
Mix the remaining vegetable oil with the dry Herbes de Provence.
Step 9
Spread a new sheet of lavash with the oil and herb mixture.
Step 10
Bake for another 7–10 minutes until crispy and golden, then cool.
Step 11
Tear into pieces by hand as desired.
