Lamb Shank Soup with Horseradish
Ingredients
- Potato 1 piece
- Rack of Lamb 15 oz
- Carrot 1 piece
- White Cabbage 5 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Horseradish Leaves 0 oz
- Red Long Chili Peppers to taste
- Salt to taste
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
- Vinegar essence 1 tablespoon
- Herbs 1 bunch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the lamb shanks, clean and cut into small pieces. Cover with cold water and bring to a boil. Skim off the foam, add salt, pepper, and simmer for 3 hours.
Step 2
Chop the vegetables – potato, carrot, onion, cabbage – and add them to the broth. Cook for 30 minutes. Add the sauce to the soup.
Step 3
To prepare the sauce, mix the minced garlic, grated horseradish, pepper, salt, sugar, and vinegar.
Step 4
Sprinkle the soup with chopped herbs.
