Lace pancakes served with Nutella® and fresh berries.
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Boiling water 10 fl oz
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Salt 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil 2 spoons
- Ghee 0 oz
- Nutella® 0 oz
- Fresh Berries to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs with salt using a mixer until they form a white froth. While continuing to beat, gradually pour in hot water; the froth should increase in volume by 3-4 times. Without stopping the mixer, add cold milk. Then, sift in the flour and mix until combined, followed by pouring in the vegetable oil.
Step 2
Cook the pancakes on a hot skillet greased with melted butter (you only need a little bit of butter; use half a potato soaked in the butter to grease the skillet). Pour a small amount of batter: this will help the pancakes turn out light and airy.
Step 3
Spread Nutella® on each finished pancake and fold it into quarters.
Step 4
Place 4 pancakes on a plate and garnish with berries.
