Ingredients
- Vanilla Ice Cream 5 oz
- Cherry 10 oz
- Water 0 qt
- Sugar 5 oz
- Potato protein 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pit the cherries.
Step 2
Transfer to a deep saucepan.
Step 3
Pour in 800 ml of water.
Step 4
Cook over medium heat for 7–10 minutes.
Step 5
Strain the cherries through a colander, return the compote to the stove.
Step 6
Dissolve the starch in a glass of water.
Step 7
Add sugar and the dissolved starch to the compote. Introduce the starch in a thin stream while stirring constantly.
Step 8
As soon as the kissel thickens, remove from heat.
Step 9
Place the ice cream in a dessert bowl, pour 200 ml of kissel with berries over it.
Step 10
Serve.
