Kimchi Pancakes
Ingredients
- Kimchi Pasta 1 jar
- Wheat Flour 1 cup
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Onion 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil 3 tablespoons
- Rice Vinegar for Sushi 1 tablespoon
- Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon
- Sesame Oil ½ teaspoon
- Mild Chili Spice ½ teaspoon
- Toasted Cumin Seeds ½ teaspoon
- Scallions 3 stalks
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Drain the kimchi and chop it finely.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the kimchi, juice from the cabbage (½ cup), flour, eggs, and finely chopped onion.
Step 3
Divide the mixture into about two or three parts. Pour one part into a frying pan, spreading it out to a thickness of about 0.5 cm.
Step 4
Fry on one side for 2–3 minutes, then using a wide spatula or by flipping, turn it over and fry the other side for another 2–3 minutes, then flip again and fry for another 30 seconds.
Step 5
In a separate bowl, mix the vinegar, sesame oil, chili, and seeds.
Step 6
Place the pancakes on a cutting board, cut into diamond shapes, transfer to a plate, drizzle with the sauce, and sprinkle with green onion on top.
