Description
Fresh yeast can be replaced with 2 teaspoons of dry yeast. You can bake anything from this dough: pies, pastries, sweet rolls, and even pizza. The finished dough is rolled out thinly and does not require any proofing.
Ingredients
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Sugar 2 tablespoons
- Milk 1 cup
- Dry yeast 0 oz
- Margarine 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 3½ cups
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the yeast with salt and sugar. Dissolve in milk. Cold milk can be used.
Step 2
Rub the softened margarine with the flour. Pour in the dissolved yeast. Knead the dough.
Step 3
The dough should be soft and heavy, and it will quickly start to come off your hands during kneading. Shape the dough into a ball, place it in a pot, and put the pot in the refrigerator.
Step 4
After 4 hours, the dough can be shaped. This dough can also be made overnight.
