Kefir Cake with Nuts
Ingredients
- Kefir 1 glass
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Sugar 1 glass
- Wheat Flour 1½ glasses
- Activated Baking Soda 1 tablespoon
- Nuts to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour a cup of kefir into a bowl, add sugar, crack in an egg, and mix well.
Step 2
Add a teaspoon of baking soda.
Step 3
Then gradually add the flour and mix. The dough should have the consistency of sour cream.
Step 4
Grease the molds and pour the batter until they are half full.
Step 5
Sprinkle with grated nuts or sesame seeds.
Step 6
Bake in a preheated oven at 355°F for about 25–30 minutes. The time may vary depending on the size of the molds.
