Kefir Cake
Ingredients
- Sugar 5 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Jam 5 oz
- Kefir 10 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil to taste
- Vanillin to taste
- Fresh Berries to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the sugar and egg together. Add vanillin and jam with berries. Continue beating.
Step 2
Add baking soda, quenched with vinegar. Continue beating until the mixture doubles in size.
Step 3
Add kefir and gradually fold in the flour. Mix thoroughly (you can add a little vegetable oil to keep the cake fresh longer).
Step 4
Bake in a preheated oven at 355°F for 30–40 minutes.
