Ingredients
- Margarine 10 oz
- Wheat Flour 3 cups
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Sugar 1 cup
- Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
- Activated Baking Soda ½ teaspoon
- Jam 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cream the softened margarine with 3 cups of flour. Beat 2 eggs with 1 cup of sugar. Make a well in the flour and margarine mixture and carefully pour in the beaten eggs with sugar. Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and ½ teaspoon of baking soda (do not dissolve).
Step 2
Knead the dough. Take 4 pieces of the dough and roll them into small balls. Place the balls in the freezer for 15-20 minutes. Roll out the remaining dough evenly on a baking sheet. Spread jam over the dough. Take the pieces of dough from the freezer and grate them over the jam using a coarse grater.
Step 3
Place in a preheated oven at 180-390°F for 25-29 minutes. Cut into pieces while hot.
