Ingredients
- Apple 1 piece
- White Beans 10 oz
- Cottage cheese 5 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Corn Starch 0 oz
- Baking Powder 0 oz
- Walnuts 0 oz
- Raw cane sugar 5 oz
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cook the red beans, drain the water, and let them cool — or use canned beans.
Step 2
Cut the apple in half, remove the core, and microwave for four minutes.
Step 3
Blend the beans, apple, egg, cottage cheese, and sugar in a blender. Combine the dry ingredients—flour, starch, and baking powder. Add them to the batter along with the chopped nuts, and season with salt to taste.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 355°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the sheet, occasionally wetting the spoon with cold water. Garnish with halves of nuts and bake for fifteen minutes.
