Description
The jam is prepared in three stages, each stage is done one day after the previous one.
Ingredients
- Sugar 25 oz
- Fresh Berries 0 lbs
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Clean the berries, chop them, sprinkle with sugar at a rate of 200–400 g of sugar per 1 kg of berries, and let sit for one day.
Step 2
Boil the peels and substandard fruits for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Strain the broth through a sieve and add sugar (for apples, use 800 ml of broth and 700 g of sugar per 1 kg of prepared fruit).
Step 4
Drain the syrup from the fruits and pour the prepared boiling broth over them. Let it steep overnight.
Step 5
Cook until ready (for example, apples should become transparent). Add sugar at a rate of 400 g of sugar per 1 kg of berries 10 minutes before the end of cooking.
