Italian Rose Hip Jam

- Fresh Rose Hips 20 oz
- Water 10 fl oz
- Sugar 25 oz

Step 1
Clean the rose hips by removing the stems, cut them in half, and thoroughly remove the seeds. You should have about 450-500 grams of cleaned rose hips.
Step 2
In a large pot, combine the cleaned rose hips, water, and sugar. Bring to a boil, cover with a lid, reduce the heat, and simmer for 30 minutes until soft, adding a little more water if necessary.
Step 3
Pour the mixture into a sieve and strain, pressing out all the juice. If needed, add more sugar, transfer to a pot, and cook on low heat until it reaches jam consistency. Pour into sterilized jars and seal tightly.
