Italian Lemon Sherbet
Ingredients
- Water 10 fl oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Lemon 2 pieces
- Meyer Lemon Juice 10 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine water and sugar and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Add lemon juice and the grated zest from 2 lemons, then chill in the refrigerator until completely cooled.
Step 2
Pour into an ice cream maker and freeze. Alternatively, pour into halved lemons that have been hollowed out and freeze them as molds.
