Italian Easter Pie with Grape Seed Oil
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla salt 0 oz
- Grapeseed Oil 5 fl oz
- Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
- Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
- Candied fruits to taste
- Semi-soft cream cheese 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the flour and 100 grams of sugar. Add the eggs and mix thoroughly. Divide into 2 parts and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Beat the cottage cheese with the remaining sugar, add the candied fruits and cinnamon.
Step 3
Roll out the dough so that the diameter of the first layer is larger than the diameter of the baking dish. Roll out the second part of the dough.
Step 4
Place the first layer of dough in the baking dish, add the filling. Cut the second 'round' of dough into strips and place them on top of the filling.
Step 5
Brush the pie with egg and bake in the oven for one and a half hours at 355°F.
