Italian Chicken Broth
Ingredients
- Cornish Hen 1 piece
- Carrot 5 oz
- Mild Chili Spice 0.3 pieces
- Stelline Pasta 5 oz
- Olive Oil 1 teaspoon
- Ocean salt to taste
- "Five Pepper Blend" to taste
- Herbs to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the hen in half.
Step 2
Cover with drinking water (enough to fully submerge the bird) and place on high heat.
Step 3
Once the water boils, reduce the heat and skim off the foam.
Step 4
Slice the carrot into thin rounds and add to the broth 5 minutes after boiling.
Step 5
Add the chili pepper.
Step 6
Meanwhile, in a small pot, heat water, and once boiling, add oil, salt, and pasta. Reduce the heat. Cook according to package instructions.
Step 7
Then drain the water.
Step 8
Season the soup with the pepper blend and cover with a lid. After boiling, cook for 20 minutes.
Step 9
At the end of cooking, add salt.
Step 10
When serving, place some pasta and sliced chicken in a bowl.
Step 11
Pour the broth with carrots over it.
Step 12
Serve garnished with herbs.
