Italian Cheese Ice Cream with Nuts
Ingredients
- Ricotta cheese 20 oz
- Lemon ½ piece
- Cream 15 fl oz
- Egg white 4 pieces
- Rum 0 fl oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Pistachios 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the yolks with the sugar. While continuing to beat, add the rum.
Step 2
Pass the cheese through a sieve and mix it with the yolk mixture. Add the grated lemon zest. Whip the cream to stiff peaks and gently fold it into the mixture.
Step 3
Line a mold with plastic wrap, add the mixture, and smooth it out. Cover the mold with parchment paper and place it in the freezer for 2-3 hours.
Step 4
Remove the finished ice cream from the mold, scoop into bowls, and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
