Ingredients
- Sugar 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Milk 0 fl oz
- Anise Vodka 0 fl oz
- Baking Powder 0 oz
- Salt 0 oz
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 340°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a mixer, beat together the sugar, softened butter, eggs, milk, and anise extract, adding them one at a time.
Step 3
Reduce the speed and gradually add the flour mixture, baking powder, and salt. Form a dough.
Step 4
Using a teaspoon, drop portions of dough onto the baking sheet, leaving 5 cm between each.
Step 5
Bake for 8–10 minutes, allowing the cookies to dry but remain white. Remove the cookies from the oven and cool on a wire rack.
Step 6
Add anise extract to the basic cookie glaze recipe. Glaze the cookies with the warm liquid mixture and let cool.
