Irish Rye-Wheat Bread
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Coarsely Ground Rye Flour 5 oz
- 1% Kefir 10 fl oz
- Salt 0 oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Activated Baking Soda 0 oz
- Ground Caraway to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix all the ingredients. Knead a soft dough. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes, covered with a napkin.
Step 2
Grease the baking pan with oil if needed and place the dough in it, making deep cuts on top.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 390°F and bake the bread for 25–30 minutes.
Step 4
The bread will rise well in the oven. Remove the bread from the pan and let it cool on a rack.
