Ingredients

  • Chickpea 15 oz
  • Butter 10 oz
  • Desiccated coconut 2 tablespoons
  • Powdered Sugar 10 oz
  • Cardamom 1 teaspoon
  • Hazelnut 2 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a heavy-bottomed skillet, melt the butter over low heat.

Step 2

Then add the chickpea flour to the melted butter and roast it for 15 minutes, stirring continuously.

Step 3

After 15 minutes, when the flour is sufficiently roasted and you can smell a nutty aroma, add the shredded coconut, ground hazelnuts, and cardamom while stirring. Roast for another two minutes, mixing well.

Step 4

Then remove the skillet from the heat and add the powdered sugar, mixing thoroughly to break up any lumps and evenly distribute the sugar.

Step 5

Finally, spoon the mixture into molds or pour it into a container, and refrigerate until fully set.

Step 6

If you poured the 'Ladoo' into a container, take it out and cut it into pieces to serve.
