Ingredients
- Pickled Apples 5 lbs
- Sugar 0 lbs
- Cinnamon 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the apples, peel them, and grate them on a medium grater.
Step 2
Bring the resulting puree to a boil, add half of the sugar, mix, and add the cinnamon.
Step 3
Bring to a boil again and stir in the remaining sugar.
Step 4
Bring to a boil once more and simmer over medium heat until a thick mass forms. You can check this by running a spatula through the surface: if the groove does not disappear, the jam is ready.
Step 5
Transfer to sterilized containers. Store in a cool place. For long-term storage, it is better to can in jars.
