
Honey Spiced Pears in Puff Pastry

Ingredients
- Pears 4 pieces
- Puff Pastry 1 piece
- Water 4 glasses
- Sugar 2 glasses
- Honey 10 oz
- Lemon ½ pieces
- Vanilla salt 1 piece
- Cinnamon 3 pieces
- Clove 8 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the pears. In a medium saucepan, dissolve the sugar and honey in water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Step 2
As soon as the sugar has dissolved, add the pears, vanilla pod, half a lemon, cinnamon, and cloves. Simmer the pears until they can be easily pierced with a fork. This may take 20 to 40 minutes, depending on the ripeness of the pears.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Once the pears are soft, remove them from the pot and let them cool slightly.
Step 4
Cut the dough into narrow strips. Completely wrap the cooled pears in the dough. Secure the dough at the base.
Step 5
Place the pears on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
Step 6
On low heat, bring the syrup to a boil and pour it into a plate. Place the pear directly into the syrup and serve.
