Ingredients
- Egg white 2 pieces
- Sugar ½ cup
- Honey 10 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon 2 teaspoons
- Wheat Flour 15 oz
- Prunes 10 oz
- Freshly brewed green tea ¾ cup
- Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Brew black tea and measure out ¾ cup.
Step 2
Mix softened butter with honey and sugar, add tea, and incorporate the eggs.
Step 3
Combine all dry ingredients and mix with the egg-honey mixture.
Step 4
Wash and dry the prunes, chop them finely, and fold into the batter.
Step 5
Grease the baking pan with butter and dust with flour — the batter makes a lot, so use a pan with a diameter of at least 25 cm.
Step 6
Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 320°F until done, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
