
Honey Cake with Cream

Description
You should buy good condensed milk, with only milk and sugar in the ingredients (without any additional additives).
Ingredients
- Butter 10 oz
- Sugar 1 cup
- Honey 2 tablespoons
- Egg white 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour 3 cups
- Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
- Condensed Milk 1 can
- Vanilla salt 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a water bath, melt 60 g of butter in a pot.
Step 2
As soon as the butter melts, add 1 cup of sugar. Stir.
Step 3
Pour in the honey, then the eggs. Stir again after each ingredient.
Step 4
Dissolve the baking soda in vinegar.
Step 5
When the mixture heats up to a hot state, add the baking soda while stirring. Stir until the mixture rises and becomes airy and whitish.
Step 6
After that, add 1 cup of flour — stir, then add another cup — stir (add flour until the mixture becomes thick).
Step 7
Remove the pot from the water bath and pour the dough onto a floured table. Knead the dough by hand and divide it into 6–7 parts (place these parts on a plate and cover with a towel to keep the dough warm).
Step 8
Take one part — roll it out. Place it on a floured baking sheet. Bake in the oven at 390°F for about 2 minutes, until golden brown. Repeat for each part.
Step 9
Carefully trim the layers and spread cream between them. Stack them on top of each other, spreading cream on the sides. Crush the trimmings with a blender. Sprinkle the edges and top of the cake with this crumb through a small sieve.
Step 10
For the cream, let the butter sit at room temperature (the butter for the cream should be soft). Place 200 g of butter in a pot and beat until it turns white. Then, add the condensed milk in small portions. Add vanilla sugar. Beat until smooth.
