Honey Cake in an Hour
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour 3 glasses
- Sugar 1¾ glasses
- Honey 3 spoons
- Sour Cream 30 oz
- Activated Baking Soda 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the eggs, baking soda, honey, and 1 cup of sugar into a non-stick saucepan and set it over high heat, stirring constantly until the volume increases threefold (a golden, frothy mixture should form).
Step 2
Remove from heat and immediately add the flour in small portions, continuing to stir. Divide the dough into 8–9 pieces. Grease the baking sheet.
Step 3
For the dough (each piece separately), do not roll it out; instead, gently flatten and stretch it by hand until it forms a thin layer.
Step 4
Bake until the crust is golden brown. Remove the crust from the baking tray while it's still soft.
Step 5
For the cream, whip together the sour cream and sugar.
Step 6
Spread the cooled and hardened layers. Leave them overnight (not in the cold) to allow them to absorb the flavor.
