Homemade Onion Hot Dogs
Ingredients
- Mayonnaise 5 oz
- Sausages 4 pieces
- Ketchup to taste
- Hot dogs 4 pieces
- Onion 1 head
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Make a deep cut in the hot dog bun, but ensure it does not separate.
Step 2
Spread a spoonful of mayonnaise on the inside of the bun.
Step 3
Peel and slice the onion into half-rings. To reduce the bitterness, blanch the onion in boiling water. Divide the onion into 4 equal parts and place one part in the bun.
Step 4
Boil the sausages and place one sausage on top of the onion.
Step 5
Drizzle ketchup over the hot dog, cover with a plastic lid, and heat in the microwave on high for one minute.
Step 6
Prepare the remaining ingredients in the same way.
