Ingredients
- Mayonnaise 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Grate the butter or margarine into 1 cup of flour using a coarse grater. Add eggs, sugar, and baking soda, and mix well.
Step 2
Add the mayonnaise and mix.
Step 3
Next, add the flour — the dough should not be 'liquid'.
Step 4
Pass small pieces through a meat grinder, cut with a knife to the desired size of the cookies, and place on a greased baking sheet.
Step 5
Bake at a temperature of 200–430°F (about 400–425 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 20 minutes.
