Homemade Kurabie
Ingredients
- Margarine 10 oz
- Wheat Flour 2 cups
- Powdered Sugar 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Knead the dough from soft margarine and flour.
Step 2
Using your hands instead of a rolling pin, flatten the dough into a cake about 1–1.5 cm thick. Use a cookie cutter or simply a glass to cut out cookies.
Step 3
With a fork, make lines on each cookie both lengthwise and crosswise to create a fine grid pattern.
Step 4
Bake the cookies for 20 minutes at 355°F.
Step 5
Sprinkle the finished cookies with powdered sugar.
